ConceivablyTech reports that Google may be thinking of getting a "major" UI refresh. Chrome has looked pretty much the same since it first came out. They may be redesigning it so there will be four modes to it.
The URL bar may go away. You will see it in only some cases. So the interface will be more streamlined and you will see more of the web than your browser. This is somewhat like Firefox's Home Dash idea.
