Amazon's web servers were hit with major problems yesterday, which took down several key websites. This included Quora, Reddit, HootSuite, some parts of Foursquare and many more. It led to a huge frustration around the world in people who regularly visited those sites.
However, not all websites that rely on Amazon's Web Services were affected. Netflix and Zynga kept on humming along.
Reddit has come back up in an "emergency read-only mode", which does not allow users to log in, post links, vote or comment anywhere on the site.
