Yup, you read it right. Apple has made a prototype iPhone to run on the US T-Mobile network. Even though AT&T gobbled up T-Mobile recently, customers of T-Mobile in the US cannot use an iPhone yet. But they might in the future.Read on for more (even more leaked photos from Boy Genius Report).
As you can see in these photos, the test model is a white version of the iPhone 4, and looks a bit different from the retail version seen everywhere. So is the white iPhone coming directly to T-Mobile or something?
The internal model of this phone is N94 (the Verizon one being N92 and the AT&T model being N90), and it runs a test version of iOS. Jonathan Geller from BGR also says that though this might look like the iPhone 4, it could be a next-generation prototype (maybe like the ones Apple is giving to game developers).
