Remember, an early build of Windows 8 got leaked via torrents recently?
If you have a big enough USB device, you can actually install a portable version of Windows 8 Enterprise on it, using a feature allegedly called Portable Workspaces.

As far as the leaked info goes, this can only be done by Windows 8 Enterprise users. And you need a USB device that has at least 16 GB of space on it. Sounds like there will be a full-blown OS on it.
Possibly IT guys can boot their own Windows 8 on a computer and then troubleshoot the local installation on Windows on that computer.
