Deutsche Telekom, owner of T-Mobile recently made a large-scale Angry Birds at a plaza in Barcelona, Spain as a marketing campaign. People could come in and use a smartphone in a kiosk to control the giant thing.
People came in and played Angry Birds on the phone, which controlled the large set in front of them. There was a huge screen on which the catapult was displayed. After the bird left the catapult, a large, physical bird would actually pop out and hit the pigs in their fortresses.
The pigs actually popped and exploded too.
