Flipboard, one of the most popular apps for iOS is about to launch for Android devices soon. Currently, it is exclusively available on the Samsung Galaxy S3, which was announced very recently.
But some forum member managed to get his hands on the new Samsung device and extract the app from it. You can download it before it is released officially.
On the XDA-Developers forum, user Valcho said that he "had a Galaxy S III lying around" and he extracted the Flipboard apk file from it using AirDroid. Since the app will probably be free later on as well (like it is on iOS), I would say that you can go ahead and install it. It looks safe enough and many people around the popular tech blogs seem to have attested to it.

If you don't know how to install an apk file on your 'droid, TechCrunch's coverage has instructions.
Flipboard is a beautiful news app which was originally available for iPad only (it was one of my first downloaded iPad apps). Later, it came out for the iPhone. It got so popular that at the time, 1 in 10 iPads around the world had it installed.
